7150 - A Tasmanian Postcode

Invertebrate Species

Scientists have divided animals into two large groups, vertebrates and invertebrates. Vertebrates (fishes, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals) have a backbone made of vertebrae. All other animals are invertebrates and these outnumber vertebrates by many thousands of species.

It would not be possible to compile a list of all of the invertebrates in the 7150 area. In fact, it would be nigh on impossible to list all of the ones found in my garden! I will add to this list as and when information becomes available.
